The Hosts
These three men are the hosts of the Circling Seattle Sports podcast. It started off with Charles, and has expanded with the additions of Bennett and Omari, respectfully. They are here to provide you three different perspectives on all things Seattle sports, ranging from the following teams: Mariners, Seahawks, Sounders, Storm, Washington Huskies athletics, Kraken, Dragons, and hoping to add the Seattle SuperSonics in the future!
Charles Hamaker
Charles Hamaker is the founder of the Circling Seattle Sports podcast. It all started with three main reasons: His writing teacher had a project that had a podcast option, a professor told him he had a personality for a podcast, and he was sick of headlines that just weren't right. He has played Football, baseball, basketball, soccer, and golf throughout his life. Charles is a student at the University of Washington Bothell, and his favorite sport is football.
Bennett Buchholz
Bennett Buchholz is the second longest standing member of the podcast. Bennett Buchholz really likes sports but he’s very bad at playing them, so naturally, he talks about them a lot. Since high school, he’s found ways to criticize the people on the field while staying about as far away from the field as possible. From broadcasting his high school football, basketball, and baseball games on NFHS to now here at Circling Seattle Sports, he really likes to complain and praise the teams he loves. His other interests include: Acting, Writing, and Star Wars. Bennett is a student at the University of Portland, and his favorite sport is football
Omari Salisbury
Omari Salisbury is the newest voice/member of the podcast. Omari only ever did track and field in high school, but recently found himself a growing interest in sports going into his freshmen year at Loyola University Chicago. He loves all the Seattle sports teams, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Omari is a multimedia journalism major and finds a perfect way to mix that with his love of sports on the Circling Seattle Sports podcast. Outside of CSS, he is currently working on developing his own clothing brand, making music, and also enjoys reading books. His favorite sports are football and volleyball.
